Good News: General Hospital’s Kelly Monaco Is Back in Action and ‘Wurkin’ It Out’
The saying is “Don’t get all bent out of shape,” but it’s obvious from Kelly Monaco’s September 1 Instagram post that she can contort herself into just about any shape she wants.
In a selfie taken at the gym, the beloved General Hospital vet has gotten herself into a position that we doubt we could if there were diagrams in front of us and pulleys attached to us. Her caption: “Wurkin’ it out.” And how!
The actress has been largely MIA on social media since being killed off General Hospital as Sam McCall in October 2024, so we can but hope that her recent return to posting indicates that she’s not only “wurkin’ it out” but perhaps ready to get back to work.
In response to Monaco’s message, many fans replied that they still missed her as Sam. It seems unlikely that she’d go back to General Hospital to resurrect Sam, however.
In the past, she’s called her dismissal “retaliation at [its] finest.” (At the time, she promised to share a proper statement on her departure at a later date, but as yet, that date has not arrived.)
