Get your hankies ready, because General Hospital is bringing all the feels this Labor Day. On Monday, Sept. 7, the ABC soap will re-air its tribute to late soap icon Anthony Geary (ex-Luke).

ABC exec Nathan Varni made the announcement on X, posting:

The episode honoring Geary originally aired earlier this year.

In that episode, we see Luke’s true love Laura (Genie Francis) and daughter Lulu (Alexa Havins Bruening) working together to help Lulu cope with Luke’s death (which happened off-screen).

Of course, Lulu was in a coma when her dad died, and the two were always very close.

So who else but her mom could help her deal with her feelings and honor her papa? Some of Luke’s other nearest and dearest in Port Charles, including his former wife Tracy (Jane Elliot), niece Carly (Laura Wright), BFF Sonny (Maurice Benard), and ex-daughter-in-law Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst), also remember the late con artist.

General Hospital spoilers and updates pose the question, did Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) push an impaired Jack Brennan (Chris L. McKenna) into the pool to frame Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros)?

Drew gave Ava Jerome (Maura West) the pill to drug him, broke into Nina’s car and put Jack’s wallet in it, and he wants to get revenge-drowning Brennan certainly sounds logical!

Drew Heard The Threats That Nina Made To Brennan

Drew, along with Tristan Rogers, (Dean Geyer) Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) heard the threats that Nina made to Brennan in the Metro Court.

She was angry, and slammed her fist on the table, telling him if he didn’t get her daughter Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) what she needed, the only person who would be destroyed would be him!

That ensured a very public record, that were something to happen to the WSB station chief, would make Nina a person of interest, if not the number one suspect!

It was after that that he met with Ava and decided the obstacle of Brennan needed to be removed before he could help Ava with Sonny Corinthos, (Maurice Benard), who he also wanted to neutralize.

They got together again and he gave her a “sleeping pill” to “keep Brennan busy” which she dissolved in his bourbon.

He pressed every button in the elevator, like he wasn’t sure where he was going, and fear was in his face. At some point, he wound up in the Metro Court Pool area, which had just been closed for the season-and somehow, drowned in the pool.

He was discovered by Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) who collided with him in the water, and she and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) kept it secret.

But with Drew’s knowing about Nina’s argument with Brennan, and her having pushed him into a lake in his wheelchair, he could have planned the whole thing-pushing Brennan into the pool!

Drew Would Have Had To Have Done The Deed Between Leaving A Meeting And Searching Brennan’s Room

Drew would have had to have done the deed between leaving a meeting with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and searching Brennan’s room.

This, after putting the virus filled flash drive from Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) into Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) computer to take out the security system and cameras.

By the time Ava got to Brennan’s room and thought he was coming, Drew would have already pushed him in the pool and made sure he drowned.

The final touch was getting Brennan’s wallet-just before burying him-and planting it in Nina’s car later. Now, all that has to happen is for Brennan’s body to be discovered and Nina to be arrested!
